The Big Buyers for Climate and Environment – an initiative of the European Commission (DG Grow), managed by ICLEI and EUROCITIES – fosters collaboration between big buyers in Europe on strategic public procurement to help drive the market for innovative goods and services. Within the areas of collaboration, one area focuses on digital healthcare solutions on patient remote monitoring.
Environmental considerations are aimed to be part of the value proposition. Possible activities regard working together with industry and standard organisations for the definition of interoperability/standards to be adopted to enable vendor-neutral data exchange for data analysis and integrated patient flow management systems.
